SATURDAY JULY 18 2020
BCRW/SUMMIT POINTS RACE #5 - GOODGUYS CHALLENGE #3

TOM THORP TRANSPORTS SUPER PRO:  Eric Sandlin  smacked the tree with a great .002 reaction time and took the stripe first to win with a 6.752 over his 6.74 dial.  Scott Vest was also one over the dial with a 5.940 on a 5.93 but his .023 light left him behind all the way down. Eric got there first by about .018

13 SINS RACECRAFT PRO FOOTBRAKE: Robert Schoemer and Benny Gossett squared off in the Footbrake final round.  Robert had the advantage at the start, leaving with a .035 light vs Benny’s .043.  However, Robert didn’t know that he had left his alternator belt on in the burnout box.  Robert gets there first but breaks out with a 8.65 under his 8.67 dial.  Benny is dead on 5.72 with a 3.  We figure Robert picked up about 3 HP from losing the belt, causing the breakout.  That’s the story we’re sticking with anyhow.

MAX'S AUTOMOTIVE JR DRAGSTER: Nichole Dickson came all the way from Albuquerque New Mexico, and drove right into the Jr Winners Circle.  Nichole had a good .025 reaction time and crossed the finish with a dead on with a zero 7.940 for the win.  Runner up Grant Chittum left with a .039 and ended up breaking out, running 7.96 under his 7.98 dial.

MAX'S KAWASAKI MOTORCYCLE: Don Hrometz blasted the tree with a .004 light and took the motorcycle win with a 6.07 over a 6.50 dial.  Runner up Shawn Ellison was .045 on the tree and finished 5 over, 6.15 to a 6.10 dial.

BIG COUNTRY STREET ELIMINATOR: JJ Gossett scored anything win in the Hell-o Kitty , running 8.24 over her 8.14 dial and a .150 reaction time.  Runner up Richard Filut was close to the dial at 10.82 over a 1.77 dial but his .255 light gave JJ a full tenth advantage all the way down track. JJ is pictured with her dad, up in the Footbrake write up.
BIG COUNTRY JR STREET ELIMINATOR: Maddi Gossett continues to dominate in Jr Street, scoring her third win in a row since jumping in the white Fusion.  Maddi had a decent .066 light and finished one over 11.71 on her 11.70 dial.  Cody Brooks red lit big, handing the win to Maddi right on the starting line.  Cody ran it out to a 9.59 over a 9.39 dial..
